Unique Admission Process

Helping you follow your dreams

At NIIT University (NU), students come first. We believe students have the right to choose their subjects and pursue a course they are passionate about. It is not enough that we find the right students; it is important that students find the institution that’s right for them.

That is why we have conceived a unique admission process to help students make a considered, thoughtful decision about their dream course.

Referred to as the Admission Interaction Process (AIP), our unique admission process helps applicants to choose a specialised stream that will allow them to develop to their fullest potential and lead them on a journey of self-discovery and transformation. AIP also involves parents or guardians in the admission process because we believe that they form the crucial third pillar in a student’s growth.

The AIP process is applicable to anyone applying for admission to NU’s BTech, BBA, and iMBA, programmes.

Here’s how it’s done.

Applicants appear for the NIIT University Aptitude Test (NUAT).

Next, applicants undergo a Student Personal Interaction (SPI) with the NU-AIP Panel, which is followed by the parents’ meeting with the panel (optional).

Note: In case a student has decided not to appear for any Engineering entrance examination, they have to undertake NUAT. This test is mandatory for every candidate who has not appeared in JEE-Main/BITSAT/SAT/CUET/NEET/IPMAT/any state Engineering entrance examination.

What is NUAT?

Overwhelmed? Don’t be

Admission Interaction Process is a completely transparent process and gives each student a fair chance to prove themselves.

What NU faculty are looking for

At NU, we are looking for students who have the potential for growth and the will to succeed.
