Prof Vijay Kumar

Professor Vijay Kumar is currently associated with the School of Computing and Engineering at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and is a visiting professor at NIIT University (NU). He completed his master’s from Manchester University, Manchester, UK and holds a PhD from Southampton University, Southampton, UK.
In a career spanning 35 years, Prof Kumar has held prestigious academic positions in India and abroad. He has published more than 30 publications in peer reviewed journals, publications in national and international refereed conferences and workshops. He is currently also leading a degree collaboration programme with a number of well-known Indian academic institutions to set up a joint UMKC degree programme under a credit transfer scheme.
