Addverb Technologies Ltd. and NIIT University signed a Memorandum of Understanding on July 16, 2025, to launch a new industry-academic collaboration in the areas of automation and robotics. Specialist training, internship, and mutually defined academic courses will provide practical exposure to professionals, students, and graduates. It also paves the way for NU to create a Centre of Excellence by fostering research, innovation, and startups, and by cultivating future-ready talent and technological growth.
Partnership with Victoria University of Wellington (VUW), New Zealand
In a historic initiative, NU collaborated with VUW to develop a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology with dual majors, extended research opportunities, and a two-year post-study work visa in New Zealand.
VUW is among the top 3% of universities in the world, and such collaboration offers international academic exposure and rewarding careers to students.
NIIT University, through its Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), teamed up with MSME-DFO Jaipur and Laghu Udyog Bharti to conduct a Management Development Programme (MDP) from January 13–17, 2025. The programme equipped over 37 MSME representatives with export documentation knowledge, global trade norms, compliance training, and firsthand insights from trade liaisons and export experts.
NIIT University
NU also hosts the MSME Idea Hackathon 5.0, inviting inventors across India to co-create solutions aligned with Make in India and Aatmanirbhar Bharat. Winners gain access to incubation support, prototype labs, grant-in-aid up to ₹15 lakh, and mentorship through NIIT University’s incubator.
NIIT University and the University of Indianapolis partner to enhance higher education academics and research
NIIT University (NU) and the University of Indianapolis (UINDY) are excited to announce a groundbreaking partnership that enhances educational and research opportunities for students and faculty. NU graduate students will have the chance to undertake a semester of an Internship/Research Project at UINDY, up to one year. NU Undergraduate students across disciplines can seamlessly transition to the on-site Corporate MBA at UINDY after fulfilling all academic requirements.
Faculty from both institutions will collaborate on research initiatives and joint conferences, with UINDY and NU faculty offering specialised courses on-site or online for terms up to one year. To further enrich the experience, UINDY students will have the opportunity to participate in an India immersion residential program organised by NU, and NU students can immerse themselves in a US immersion residential programme at UINDY.
While signing the agreement, Prof. Tanuja Singh, President of UINDY, said that “our two institutions share a commitment to developing outstanding leaders who are rooted in shared values and prepared for the future. We are looking forward to a strong and impactful partnership where we learn from each other and build on our unique strengths”.
This collaboration with UINDY’s robust and cutting-edge programmes and research will provide a fertile ground for NU students to thrive on a global scale.

In a remarkable milestone, RAAV Techlabs Pvt. Ltd., an innovation-driven venture associated with NIIT University, has been officially granted a patent by the Indian Patent Office for its pioneering invention titled “System for Determining Quality Parameters of a Liquid Sample” (Patent No. 569381), awarded on 31st July 2025.
The development of dependable, portable analytical instruments that facilitate real-time liquid quality monitoring has advanced significantly with this discovery, making the procedure accessible and reasonably priced for a range of industries. It demonstrates RAAV Techlabs’ commitment to transforming sensing and diagnostics in practical contexts through the use of spectroscopy, cutting-edge imaging, embedded intelligence, and novel form factors..
