Why NU

A doctoral degree at NU averages four years to complete. The first year provides students with the necessary background in their chosen field, finalising their research proposal, and kick-starting their research. A Doctoral Committee, comprising experts in the chosen area of research, meets once every semester to monitor the progress of the research done. The committee members give valuable suggestions and critical feedback with respect to the ongoing research.
Apart from this, NU offers doctoral candidates a slew of benefits.
  • Research in new cutting-edge areas
  • Scholarships for every student
  • Financial support to every student to present papers at international conferences
  • High level of mentoring and support, while not diluting the quality of the submitted dissertation
  • Opportunity to get feedback from industrial mentors
