Compassionate care on campus
NU campus houses a well-equipped Health Centre that can take care of common health problems and provide immediate care in case of medical emergencies. All medical emergencies are promptly moved to Park Kailash Hospital, approximately 18 minutes away from campus, accompanied by a hostel warden or staff member. A cab is present on campus at all times in case of any unforeseen emergency.
The NU health centre is manned by a team of doctors and medical assistants 24 hours a day.
Separate quarantine and isolation facilities have been created, separately for both boys and girls within the campus. NU has made arrangements with different Covid Facility hospitals for evacuation and management of serious cases. NUtons and NUrturers can also avail the facility of tele-consultation with the doctors of the hospital. All student hostels are equipped with oximeters and temperature guns for daily self-checks. Anyone with any type of symptom is immediately taken to the Health Centre for a thorough check up.
NU also caters for testing, monitoring, medication, vaccination and treatment of all support staff members working on the Campus.
