'Fostering Creativity and Innovation in Science and Technology' by Prof Ashok Misra

Prof Ashok Misra is a Distinguished Professor at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Earlier he was Director, IIT Bombay; Chairman-India, Intellectual Ventures & Faculty & Dean at IIT Delhi. He was a Visiting Fellow, Trinity College, Univ. of Cambridge & is an Adjunct Professor at the Univ. of Massachusetts. He obtained his BTech. from IIT Kanpur, MS from Tufts Univ. and PhD from the Univ. of Massachusetts. He has held several responsibilities with MHRD, Govt. of India. He is an Independent Director on the Boards of Jubilant Life Sciences Ltd., Kirloskar Electric Company Ltd., Higher Education Funding Agency and was on the Boards of several companies earlier. He is a Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences India; President from 2006-08, and a Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering.
