10-metre shooting range inaugurated at NIIT University 

NIIT University’s new 10-metre air pistol shooting range for the NUMarksmen club was inaugurated by Mrs Neeti Pawar on 15 February 2025. Mr Rajendra S Pawar – NU Founder, Mr P Rajendran, Member – Board of Management, Prof Prakash Gopalan -President, Prof Parimal V Mandke – Vice President and Maj. Gen A K Singh (Retired) – Dean Student Affairs & Chief Operations Officer graced the occasion. Members, whether seasoned shooters or just starting, can use the shooting range to hone their skills and prepare for upcoming competitions.

100-Acre Green Campus: Expanding the campus to 100 acres provides ample space for all facilities, from sports fields to study blocks. 

Sustainable Infrastructure: The campus design is based on Rajasthani architecture and climate, featuring a sophisticated “green-air conditioning” system using Earth Air Tunnels as an eco-friendly cooling method. Sustainability is a core part of the university culture.
