What Is IPMAT 2025?
IPMAT is an entrance exam conducted by IIM Indore for its integrated management programme. This exam is specifically designed for students who wish to pursue management studies from top institutions like IIMs. In addition to IIM Indore, other institutes like IIM Rohtak, IIM Ranchi, and even top private universities like NIIT University accept IPMAT scores for their integrated MBA programs.
This 5-year program covers both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in management, offering students a streamlined path to leadership roles in the business world.
Types Of IPMAT Exam: New Addition
Five IIMs conduct the Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) for students who want to join their five-year Integrated Programme in Management. This program offers a dual degree, including BBA-MBA, from the respective IIM. After IIM Indore, other IIMs also hold their own entrance examinations.
IIMs, such as IIM Indore and IIM Rothak, conduct the IPMAT named as IPMAT Indore, and IPMAT Rohtak. The JIPMAT examination is jointly conducted by IIM Bodh Gaya and Jammu. Additionally, IIM Ranchi considers admissions scores from the IPMAT Indore exam and SAT. The colleges also allow students to exit with a 3-year degree.
Students have the option to take different IPMATs, such as IPMAT Indore, IPMAT Rothak, and JIPMAT.

IPMAT 2025 Exam: Basic Detail
IPMAT 2025 will be a computer-based test. The exam consists of three sections:Â
– Quantitative Ability (MCQs)
– Quantitative Ability (SA)
– Verbal Ability
The exam lasts for two hours (120 Minutes), with a total of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). You earn four marks for each correct answer, and one mark is deducted for every incorrect response. There is no penalty for leaving questions unanswered.

3. Pay the application fee (which varies based on your category).
4. Submit the form.

The application fee, which is non-refundable, can only be paid online using a credit card, debit card, internet banking, mobile banking, or UPI. IPMAT 2025 Exam Syllabus:
The IPMAT Exam Syllabus consists of 2 major sections: Quantitative Ability and Verbal Ability. To clear the IPMAT Indore exam, students need to study all the topics and subtopics thoroughly and revise at least two times. Start as early as possible, as the dates are near the corner.
Quantitative Ability: This section will have questions based on Class 9 and Class 10 mathematics. All the questions in this section of the exam will be based on topics such as Percentage, Profit and Loss, Discount, Time and Work, Probability, Number System, Time, Speed and Distance, Algebra, Permutation and Combination, Mixtures and Allegations, Data Interpretation, Simple and Linear Equations, etc. Let us give you more detailed sub-topics of this section:

Important Points To Consider For The IPMAT Exam:
1. Eligibility for International Boards: Students from foreign boards like IGCSE and IB can apply for IPMAT but must submit SSC, HSC, and school leaving certificates during counselling.
2. Age Limit: Candidates should be below 20 years. For SC, ST, and PwD categories, the age limit is 22.
3. Marks Calculation: Marks for X and XII are calculated based on aggregate scores across all subjects.
4. Grade Conversion: If your board awards grades, they must be converted to percentages based on the board’s certified procedure.
5. IIM Discretion: IIMs have the final say regarding intake, equivalence, and qualification recognition.
