The Maharashtra CET Cell has commenced the MHT CET Counselling 2024. Candidates can complete MHT CET 2024 CAP Counselling registration from July 14, 2024 onwards. The website for MHT CET Counselling is cetcell.mahacet.org. The last date to register for MHT CET 2024 Counselling is July 24, 2024.
Candidates from all states are welcome and can apply for the MHT CET Counselling 2024. It is open to all Indian nationals, including those from other states. However, reservation benefits like fee waivers or seat allotments are typically applicable only for candidates belonging to the Maharashtra State Candidature. After Registration, the CET Cell will release a merit list of registered candidates based on their class 12 and CET marks / JEE Main scores. 1. HOW TO REGISTER YOURSELF
To take part in the MHT CET counselling, candidates must register online at the counselling portal cetcell.mahacet.org, upload scanned documents, and pay the required counselling fee. The last date to register in MHT CET 2024 is July 24. Keep the following documents handy.
Documents Required For Registration: You need to upload the following listed documents during the counselling Registration in order to participate in the MHT CET counselling 2024:
Online & Offline Mode Verification: During counselling registration, candidates can choose online or offline document verification. Opting for online verification results in prompt email acknowledgment. For offline verification, candidates designate a facilitation center. This personalized approach aims to accommodate individual needs for a smooth experience. The documents of students will be verified by the counselling authority.
Uploading Scanned Documents: At this part, candidates must upload their scanned documents, photograph, and signature with file sizes ranging from 4KB to 100KB and dimensions of 3.5*4.5cm and 1KB to 30KB and 3.5*1.5cm, respectively.
Payment of Counselling Fees: After that, applicants will need to pay the counselling fees online, based on their category.
2. RELEASE OF MERIT LIST
After document verification, The admission committee will release a provisional MHT CET merit list based on class 12 and CET / JEE Mains marks in a 50:50 ratio by July 27. Candidates will also be allowed to raise objections to the provisional merit list if they come up with any issue related to the position in the merit list by July 30 2024. The final MHT CET merit list will be released on August 2 after considering the challenges submitted by students.
3. FILL YOUR CHOICE
If your name is on the merit list, you need to select your preferred college and branch out of available B. Tech courses. Seats in the college will be allocated based on your position on the merit list and your preferences. Since the seat allocation is also based on the choice-filling process, so be sure to fill out the option form carefully.
4. SEAT ALLOTMENT
After choice filling for MHT CET Counselling 2024 seat allotment will be made in three rounds. The seat allotment is determined based on the ranks acquired by students in the merit list and students’ preferences and availability of seats.
5. RESERVE YOUR SEAT AT THE EARLIEST
Candidates who will be allotted seats have to confirm their B. Tech admission online by paying the seat confirmation fees and reporting to the allotted institute before the last date.
