Dr Rohit received his PhD (CSE) from SPSU, Udaipur in 2019, MTech from JNU in 2011 and BE (Computer Engineering) from Rajasthan University in 2007. He has published more than 30 papers in peer reviewed journals and conferences of national and international repute with publishers like IEEE, ACM, Springer, Elsevier, etc. His primary area of research includes Biometric Image Processing and Pattern Recognition. He has an extensive teaching experience of more than 16 years. He strongly believes that teaching should be practical and linked to real world situations. By doing so, students will be mentally prepared for the challenges they might face in the future. Dr Rohit has registered a copyright on “Half Halt Press” which is an Android based application for Book Management. He also has a copyright on “Securing 6LowPan based on Performance Analysis using custom IPv6 Application”, which is a novel methodology for improving the performance of sensor nodes. He is also certified from Cyberoam as Network & Security Professional. He has supervised sixteen MTech dissertation works and more than 100 UG level projects. He has published three textbooks which are currently referred to by many students. He has also contributed to various book chapters which are currently indexed in Scopus. He has also organized various FDPs and Workshops for IPR related activities.
