Shreyansh Sharma

Shreyansh Sharma is a PhD research scholar at IIT Jodhpur specializing in biometric security, blockchain-based authentication systems, and immersive AR/VR technologies. His research emphasizes privacy-preserving and decentralized solutions applicable to secure authentication, 3D medical data visualization, and secure digital ownership. He holds an MTech in Information Architecture & Software Engineering from DAVV Indore and a BE in Information Technology.

Shreyansh has published extensively in reputed journals such as Computers & Security, Computers and Electrical Engineering, and Journal of Information Security and Applications. He has presented his work at prominent international conferences including IEEE MIPR and AIR 2025. His research bridges theory and practical application, with professional experience at CSIR-CEERI Pilani working on blockchain and biometric projects.

He has received several prestigious awards, including the Best Poster Award at IIT Jammu’s Mobile Device and Application Security Workshop, multiple IEEE and conference travel grants, and Best Teaching Assistant awards. Shreyansh also contributes to the academic community as a reviewer for leading journals like Journal of Big Data, Cluster Computing, and Journal of Information Security and Applications.

His expertise spans biometrics, blockchain technologies (Ethereum, Hyperledger), AR/VR, machine learning, robotics, and secure software systems. He is passionate about innovative teaching and advancing research that integrates emerging technologies.
