Prof TV Krishna Rao

TV Krishna Rao is an environmentalist, and an expert in the areas of GIS/GPS/Remote Sensing and Photogrammetry. He has an MS (Ecology) from Central University, Puducherry, and nearly 15 years of experience in the geospatial industry, of which the first three years were spent in research. He is also an Intergraph-certified Product Trainer.

At NRSA, he built up his expertise on field data collection and the use of ESRI and ERDAS software. Later, he joined ROLTA as a Technical Marketing & Support Engineer and developed his skills in technical marketing, support, project management and execution, team building, proposal preparation, training, etc.

Mr Krishna Rao also worked for Intergraph Middle East at Dubai as a Senior Engineer (GIS / Remote Sensing / Photogrammetry). At Intergraph, he was responsible for project management and execution, training, pre- and post-sales’ support for GIS/Mapping and Project customers.

Mr Krishna Rao later joined ESRI INDIA (NIIT GIS Ltd) as Regional Technical Coordinator and became Head, Technical Support (pre- and post-sales support) and pre-sales (Products).
