Some glimpses of the first day:

On the morning of November 29, 2023, the students embarked on a Suryoday trek to the Aravali range, adjacent to the NIIT University Campus, to appreciate the beauty of our verdant campus at sunrise. Post their return, the students had a hearty breakfast and were eager to commence the forthcoming sessions. The NC students interacted with NU leadership team, comprising our President, Dr. Prakash Gopalan; Vice-President, Dr. Parimal Mandke; Founding and Mentor Professor, Prof. Vijay Mandke; COO and Dean Student Affairs, Major General (Retired) A. K. Singh in the inaugural session for the day. The leadership team shared their words of wisdom and encouragement for the future endeavors of students. Finally, the day ended with games and sports activities.

Some glimpses of the second day:

The following day, 30th November, students were taken on an ECO campus tour by Major General (Retired) A. K. Singh. The students received a detailed explanation of our sustainable environmental practices. Amidst the ongoing international conference hosted at NIIT University, ‘ENTENTE 2023’, students got the opportunity to attend the keynote lecture by Mr. Harpal Singh, Founder and Chairman of Nanhi Chhaan Foundation. This engagement provided them with insights and knowledge with respect to an international conference. Subsequently, a thought-provoking interactive session was arranged with Mr. Harpal Singh, where students had the opportunity to delve into meaningful discussions and gain valuable insights into the challenges and dynamics surrounding contemporary societal concerns. The topics involved, pros and cons of diversity, impact of Bollywood on India and the world, building the Nanhi Chhaan fraternity along with suggestions and feedback from the students. The comprehensive feedback received included suggestions for organizing sessions on state-wise culture, implementing therapy sessions, initiating a collaborative project involving all Nanhi Chhaan students, and encouraging students to share meaningful social media posts at least once a month. These valuable insights will be considered to enhance future events and programs in relation to Nanhi Chhaan.

Following that, the students commenced preparations for their projects. They were tasked with delivering group presentations on the topic assigned to them. The presentations proved to be remarkably interactive and informative, showcasing the students’ knowledge and understanding. The project evaluations were conducted by Prof. Debashish Sengupta and Prof. Vijay Mandke; the Area Directors of CSE and Educational Technology, respectively. A talent show was organized late in the evening where the students wowed us with their mesmerizing paintings, dance performances and singing.  Their performances captivated the audience and received heartfelt appreciation.
