Shivani Varshney completed her MTech from the Indian Institute of Technology Ropar, Punjab, where she focused her research on gene regulation in lung cancer, aiming to target genes for advanced lung cancer treatments. During her tenure at IIT Ropar, she was involved in several significant projects. Her thesis projects include ‘Exploring the non-canonical regulatory roles of TAF1C- a component of RNA Pol I transcription system’ and conducting a systematic review on ‘Wearable sensor-based devices for continuous glucose measurement in diabetes patients’.

Dr Vikash Kumar has earned his MTech and PhD in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, India. He specializes in synthesizing nanostructured materials (TiO2, ZnO, Hybrid nanocomposites, Graphene, and Graphene oxide) for the application in Photocatalysis and Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells. In addition to his MTech and PhD research, he also specializes in the bioconversion of lignocellulosic biomass into ethanol. He is well versed in handling instruments like Solar Simulator, I-V testing multimeter, UV-visible spectrophotometer, FTIR, BET Surface Area Analyser. He has comprehensive knowledge in analyzing data obtained from FESEM, XRD, UV-Visible spectrophotometer, EDXS and XPS.

Dr Utkarsh Raj has earned his PhD from the Department of Bioinformatics & Applied Sciences at the Indian Institute of Information Technology-Allahabad, recognized as an Institute of National Importance by the Government of India. His research, encapsulated in his thesis, focuses on the nuanced exploration of targeting epigenetic regulators for cancer therapy. His methodologies involve a judicious blend of NGS data analysis, systems biology, and structural bioinformatics approaches.

Dr Manoj Kumar obtained his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in 2016, specializing in Electronic & Electrical Engineering with a focus on ‘The Development of On-Chip THz Spectroscopic Systems & Waveguides’ from University of Leeds, England. Prior to that, he attained his Master of Technology (MTech) in VLSI Design & Automation Techniques from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Hamirpur, India.

Dr. Santanu Roy earned his PhD degree in Medical Image Processing from NITK Surathkal, in 2021. He completed his MTech from Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information & Communication Technology (DA-IICT), Gandhinagar in ICT branch, in 2011. He received Bachelor of Technology from St. Thomas College of Engineering & Technology (WBUT), Kolkata, in ECE branch, in 2008. The central component of his research has been Medical Image Processing, more specifically in Medical Image Classification (or disease detection) by Deep Learning or Machine Learning models. He is a Machine Learning enthusiast and he has many research publications in top Q1 Journals and in top-tier premier conferences in the world including ICPR, EUSIPCO, ACM/ SIGAPP, etc

Dr. Swakangkha Ghosh earned her PhD degree in active tectonics and paleoseismology from the Indian Institute of Technology (ISM), Dhanbad. However, majority of the work related to her Ph.D. was completed from Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology, Dehradun where she was working as a research scholar in an ISRO funded project. She has competed her master’s in Applied Geology from Dibrugarh University, Assam and her bachelors in Geology (Hons.) from North Eastern Hill University, Meghalaya.
