Panel discussion by GT Bharat and Walker Chandiok experts on Union Budget 2025
A stimulating panel discussion BY was organised at NU experts from GT Bharat and Walker Chandiok & Co LLP on February 11, 2025, a thought-provoking panel discussion on “Insights from Union Budget 2025” was conducted at NU. The panelists were experts from Grant Thornton Bharat and Walker Chandiok & Co LLP.
NU IPR Cell organizes a talk on IPR Ignition by U C Agarwal
Mr U C Agarwal, who is an external industry expert member of the NIIT University IPR cell, visited NIIT University campus on January 29 2025 and delivered a talk on “IPR Ignition” from 3.15 PM to 4 PM in the Auditorium.The talk highlighted the significance of patents, trademarks, copyrights, and other intellectual property protections. The session emphasized how IPR safeguards innovation, promotes business growth, and encourages creativity. Patents protect new inventions, trademarks secure brand identity, and copyrights ensure creative works remain exclusive to their creators. The discussion also covered the economic benefits of IPR, particularly in startups and industries.
NU hosts Neemrana Jal Samvad
Water is one of the key resources under threat because of climate change. Water, as we already know is an absolute essential not only for human existence but also for our sustenance and well-being. NIIT University hosted a dialogue on Water – Neemrana Jal Samvad – a Rajasthan state level special water dialogue. The event was organized by the Central Ground Water Board , RIICO , and Neemrana Industries Association.
NIIT University celebrates National Voters Day 2025
The Electoral Literacy Club (ELC) hosted a series of engaging and thought-provoking events to celebrate the National Voters’ Day on January 25th, 2025. The event, led by Alisha Sultana and Ansh Bansal, aimed to raise awareness about the significance of voting and encourage students to become responsible citizens.
12th Annual Kite Flying Festival at NU
The 12th Annual Kite Flying Festival, a tradition at NU, was celebrated on the morning of the 18th and coincided with Raat Mahotsav, another annual NU tradition. Several teams consisting of NUtons, NUrturers and their families assembled in the Bowl and adjacent lawns. The aim was to last the longest by getting other kites down. The longest lasting group received the honour of being recognized as – ‘LAST GROUP STANDING’.

NIIT University celebrates ‘Raath Mahotsav’ to build seamlessness with the local traditions and culture of Neemrana, known as region of ‘Raath’. All NU students, staff, faculty and administrators join hands with the local community in participation in cultural events.

NU LIRC hosts a book exhibition on National Librarians Day
August 12 is celebrated as National Librarian’s Day in India to honour Dr S R Ranganathan who is known as the Father of Library Science. NU LIRC (Library Information and Resource Centre) organised a book exhibition on Indian Knowledge System and Cultural Heritage to raise awareness of the library’s collection among its many users.
NU organizes its annual blood donation camp | NIIT University
On August 28 2024, NIIT University, in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS), organized a successful blood donation camp on campus. The event was held in partnership with the Indian Red Cross Society.
