Rajendra S Pawar, Founder, NIIT University (NU) and Chairman and Co-Founder, NIIT Group was given the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ at Dataquest ICT Awards 2019 on 18th August 2020. The award was presented during a Special Webinar on ’40 Years of ICT Industry and the Next 10 Years’.
The Asian Lens : Creating a new vision for Asia
Based on the founding thoughts of the Asian Lens initiative at NU, Mr. Rajendra Pawar, Founder, NIIT University says -“Institutions of learning across Asia can and must lead the resurgence, reacquainting young people in the continent with their abounding traditions and customs”.

NIIT UNIVERSITY 9th CONVOCATION, 19th October 2019
NU held its 9th Convocation ceremony on Saturday 19th October 2019. 308 students were awarded degree certificates for successful completion of academic programmes in various disciplines.

NIIT University hosted a workshop for senior counsellors, college advisors and educators from eminent schools on Saturday 21st September 2019. The objective was to understand the mind of GenNext – the Centennials or Gen Z – so that together they can be mentored to make wise career decisions.

NUtons, Archit Kaila & Ayushi Goel, Class of 2019, incubating their startup @ NU Incubator, have been chosen to be part of a 100-member team for a 2-week residential program at Silicon Valley, San Francisco.
NU Student from B.Tech Biotechnology receives Best Paper Presenter award in 7th International Conference on Research in Life-Sciences & Healthcare 2019, Kuala Lumpur
Sumili Dey (Final Year B.Tech Biotech) has received the Certificate of Honour for the Best Paper Presenter for her paper titled ‘Identification of novel dysregulated genes in ovarian cancer using NGS Data Analysis’ in the 7th International Conference on Research in Life-Sciences & Healthcare (ICRLSH) held at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in June 2019.
