NU’s unique orientation programme for new students – Resonance 2017 – began this year on Thursday July 13th 2017.

PeerXP Technologies (www.peerxp.com), a startup by NU students participated in the Global Business Idea Hackathon conducted by C-Mint Incubation on Hackerearth. It is a Global Hackathon partnered by Accel Partners and Google For Entrepreneurs.

NU has won the “Best Infrastructure of the Year” award at the Indian Education Congress & Awards 2017.

NU Student, Sharathkumar Anbu, has won the Best Paper Award for his paper titled ‘Machine Learning Approach for Predicting Women’s Health Risk’ at the 4th International Conference on Advanced Computing and Communications Systems 2017, an IEEE sponsored conference.

The NU Innovators Challenge was held on Friday 20th January 2017 on NU Campus. The day sparked with nearly a 100 young bright minds presenting their innovative solutions. The event began with NU President, Prof. V. S. Rao setting the tone by succinctly stating the intent behind the challenge.

NU Alumni, Shikhil and Ananda, Batch of 2016, started Czar Securities a couple of years ago while they were still students of NU. The company now adds another feather to its cap. It has been selected a winner for ‘French Tech Ticket’ program run by the French Government.
